The Story

A flat fee. Paid to walk. Built by one person on zero debt.

DeliverLah is Singapore's first peer-to-peer walking delivery platform. Senders post a drop. Nearby neighbours — we call them Droppers — accept it and walk it across town. We charge S$1.50 flat per delivery. Everything else goes to the person who walked your parcel.

The idea didn't start with an app. It started in 2020, during Singapore's Circuit Breaker, with a Telegram group called Sovereign Riders Singapore— SRS. Traditional delivery platforms were charging merchants 30–40% of every transaction. Hawker uncles and home bakers were watching most of their hard work disappear into a platform cut they couldn't negotiate. A handful of us started coordinating deliveries for our neighbours the old-fashioned way: a chat group, some goodwill, PayNow transfers.

SRS taught us two things that everyone in the logistics industry already knew but had stopped acting on. One: most deliveries in Singapore are short. Short enough to walk. Two: the people willing to walk them aren't drivers — they're retirees on their morning round, stay-home mums picking up kids, students between classes, office workers clocking steps. They already move through the city. They just needed a way to be paid fairly for it.

DeliverLah is SRS 2.0. Same mission, proper infrastructure. Built in 2026 by Jamie— solo founder, self-funded, zero debt. No venture capital, no growth-at-all-costs pressure, no advisors pushing for commission tiers. The brief was plain: marginal profitability from day one, operated as a limited liability company under Hive Logistics Pte Ltd, with a platform fee small enough that walking a parcel across Singapore is still worth the walker's time.

The fee is S$1.50 flat. It doesn't grow with distance. It doesn't grow with parcel size. It doesn't grow with demand. A Dropper's earnings start at S$3 for a Light parcel and climb with distance at S$1.00 per kilometre — all of which goes to the Dropper. If a Sender chooses to add a priority fee, 100% of that goes to the Dropper too. There is no surge pricing. There is no merchant commission. Merchants who integrate DeliverLah into WooCommerce or via our REST API pay the same S$1.50 per job as a one-time sender.

We tried to build the kind of platform we wished had existed during Circuit Breaker. Every delivery has GPS tracking, photo proof, and a dispute pathway. Every profile has verified identity and bidirectional ratings. Every Dropper is an independent contractor— no shifts, no exclusivity, no uniform, no forced assignments. You choose what you accept. We don't ask for your reasons when you say no. Payouts happen via FAST bank transfer within 24 hours of a confirmed delivery. No wallet, no in-app balance, no floating money.

The community has a name: The Drop Zone. The first 1,000 people who log in after being approved carry a permanent Founding Member badge — non-transferable, can't be bought, can't be re-minted after the cap. Beyond the badge, the platform ships in all four of Singapore's official languages — English, 简体中文, Bahasa Melayu, and தமிழ் — because a platform built around the idea that your neighbour is the courier should speak like your neighbour.

Founder

DeliverLah was built by Jamie — solo founder, self-funded, zero debt. Jamie previously created Sovereign Riders Singapore (SRS) during the COVID Circuit Breaker, a community-driven delivery effort that became the direct inspiration for DeliverLah. Jamie operates DeliverLah as a technology matching platform through Hive Logistics Pte Ltd (UEN 202613598M), not as a logistics company or employer.

Our Mission

More money in your pocket. Not ours.

Traditional delivery platforms take 30–40% of every transaction through commissions, surge pricing, and hidden fees. We believe the real value is created by the merchants who make the products and the people who carry them — not the platform in between.

DeliverLah was born from the frustrations of high commission rates charged by delivery platforms during COVID. We watched small businesses and everyday Singaporeans pay 30–40% of every transaction to platforms that gave back the minimum. We built DeliverLah to flip that model.

We charge a flat S$1.50 platform fee per delivery. No surge pricing. No merchant commissions. No percentage-based fees that grow as your order grows. Droppers earn from S$3 per job, plus distance and priority bonuses. We take S$1.50 to keep the lights on — and that's it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I arrange deliveries directly with a Dropper I know?

We love that our community connects! You're free to chat, coordinate, and build relationships with other users. But when it comes to the actual delivery, we'd recommend keeping it on the app. That way you get a time-stamped digital trail, GPS confirmation, photo proof, and upfront payment security. If something goes wrong in a private deal, there's no paper trail to fall back on. The app is your safety net.

What happens if my parcel goes missing?

Every delivery on DeliverLah has a full audit trail — who accepted it, when it was picked up, GPS tracking, photo proof of delivery. If something goes wrong, you can raise a dispute and our team will review the evidence. If upheld, your delivery fee is refunded. Please note that DeliverLah can refund the cost of the delivery service but cannot recover or compensate for the value of parcel contents. For high-value items, we recommend arranging your own insurance. Off-platform arrangements have no such protection.

How do Droppers get paid?

After the Sender confirms delivery (or after 2 hours of auto-confirmation), the Dropper's earnings are transferred via FAST to their registered bank account within 24 hours. No cash, no chasing — guaranteed.

Is there a minimum or maximum parcel size?

DeliverLah supports parcels up to 8 kg across three tiers: Light (< 3 kg), Medium (3-5 kg), and Heavy (5-8 kg). Items exceeding 8 kg or prohibited items (as listed in our Terms of Service) are not permitted.
